Updates related to the Gate Exam 2021 :-- Eligibility criteria relaxed and two more new subjects are introduced

If we talk about the extended schedule of the Gate Exam 2021, many other changes have  been made to the Gate 2021. By this the eligibility criteria has been relaxed and by this, next year more students will get a chance to appear for the GATE 2021. According to me next year its a golden opportunity for all of us.

As The Indian Institute Of Technology - IIT Bombay declared the dates for the GATE 2021 on July 25. The entrance exam for postgraduate admissions will held from February 5, 2021 and it will end on February 14, 2021. By keeping in mind the extreme conditions created due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic situation, the GATE 2021 exams will be conducted after a long period of  time. So, the exams will be conducted on the following dates given below:- 

• February 5
• February 6
• February 7
• February 12
• February 13
• February 14

Now let's talk about the several  other changes made to the GATE 2021. These changes have been made as per the recommendations of the IIT Bombay team. So, the first update is that, this year the students from the humanities backgrounds will also be allowed to take the GATE Exam. 

And the second update is that two new subjects have also been added too, and these both the subjects are  Humanities and Social Sciences (XS) and Engineering Science and Engineering (ES). And by the implementation to these two more new subjects the total number of the subjects for GATE 2021 has increased to 27. 

And the third  update is related to the eligibility criteria.  Now from yesterday after the updation done  by the  IIT Bombay, the students of the third  year will also be eligible for the GATE exam along with the fourth year students.  So, you can understand it as third year students can also apply for the GATE 2021 exam.

So, from now it is clear that those student who are in first or second year, its a golden opportunity for them  because from now they  have enough time to clear this GATE exam. So, best wishes from my side to all and work hard in this era of advanced competition. Let's do it guys......
